Communication
As a former educator, I have experience communicating with administration, fellow teachers, parents, and students, and I believe that establishing and maintaining clear lines of communication is key. This is the cornerstone to a high-functioning team and must be intentionally pursued.

As a Band Director, I oversaw the instrument inventory of over 350 students a year and tracked locker storage, repairs, and instrument assignment. I am proficient and comfortable with organizing a large number of elements and understand the importance of constantly striving to streamline processes.

Project Scope
Being a teacher requires a clear view of every student’s learning scope. My students progressed from knowing very little about playing an instrument to competing in competitions in less than a year. Project scope must be considered at the beginning and revisited constantly.
